FAMILY

Sometimes, I felt sorry for for my parents. Being over 40, still they are working really hard to earn a living, to feed us, to sustain a family and to provide us with proper education. It is really hard seeing them, rain or shine, out there.
Until one day, I realized how important family is.

There tend be arguments and fights in a family, but what is important is the needs to understand the feelings of every member in the family. Don't go around harboring hatred for you parents for scolding you because they too are trying their best to help you, to guide you down the correct path. You might regret your action one day.
Learn to speak up and express your feelings. If you talents lie in other fields, tell them and make sure they understand. Though every parents hope is to see their children excel in education, it also their hope to see their children excel in the fields of their interest.
Do realize one thing, life never ends. It is a continuous cycle of birth.

Life

Sometimes, when the machine stops functioning, only then will we realize how important it is. We tend to take things for granted. Ignoring the facts that behind the comforts, there is a price to pay. Similar to our lives, we will never know when it will suddenly stop functioning. Thus, knowing that our future is unpredictable and complicated, yet we just live by the rules though it is meant to be broken.

What is life without challenges;
What is life without a little adventure;
What is life without love and sex;
What is life without embracing who we are;
What is life without living to our very own expectation;
What is life without having fun;
What is life without having a life.

Life is simple but complicated. Just like a maze, you choose your own path, walk your own life and decide your fate. Sometimes, you will get lost in the middle of it, but by conquering your fear, you will be able to survive to find your way out.

Something to ponder....

There are moments in life when you feel down and useless. Unable to perform up to standard as you've always wanted. Sometimes, we envy those who can perform very well without putting themselves in a dire condition. While us, we have to give our best and remind ourselves that a slight mistake will eventually lead to our downfall. Thus, there is no room for mistakes. Not even one.
I believe none of us would want to live a life of full of regrets for not being able to enjoy what God has provided us. Though grades are important but what defines a truly successful person, is not limited to grades alone. It is never a good measurement of intelligence. Do you truly believe that being on top on everyone proves that you are the wisest among us ? Maybe for some reason, it is. For most of us, it is just another chapter of life.
No doubt, being special, a genius, is what most of us hope for. As a student, sitting for an exam, attending lectures and completing tutorials are just the kind of life we will be living. "If only I am smarter....", "Why can't I be as smart as him?" , " How come he can easily score full marks?" These phrases are common. They are always part of you, perhaps another personality being envious of those who perform better than you.
However, we fail to evaluate ourselves. We never acknowledge our weaknesses. Instead, we just blame whoever, whatever, we think is wrong. God created mankind and I believe that God foresee this problem even before the birth of Adam and Eve.
We are unique, born with gifts and talents. But, these talents are left for us to explore. Though we are already grown-ups, but our chapters of life have just begun. We still have plenty of chapters to explore, to find the right purpose, the correct path and the wisdom of life. Thus, failure is never a dead end. It is just another chapter of life to make you stronger, wiser and better than before.

Failure

Define failure. A word so powerful that it brought down so many allies with it. In fact, there are only two outcomes from every consequences, failure and success. You will never stay between the boundary, not even an inch from it. It is either success or failure that we choose and though we wanted success so badly, failure will always detour around looking for possible victims.
Some people gave up. Some take it too seriously with the cost of his/her own life. Some just pretend that it never exists. Why such ignorance? Is being ignorant always the best solution to deal with failure? Some people would risk their life just to make sure failure does not occur again. They fight for what they believe is right and lead the path of success.

Comeback!

I will be having an exam tomorrow and here I am, updating my blog after some act of disappearance. Funny though, while I'm supposed to be looking at the lecture notes, I'm typing something which is not related to the exam. I guess I'm just too tired to even look at the notes.
The moment I stare at the functions, my eyes roll around and stray elsewhere. I'm out of focus!
Less than five minutes in a shutdown mode, distractions trigger my brain cells and I'm back online.

I believe the best thing in this world is to be able to stay close to a person whom you loved. Perhaps, others might regard this oppositely. For people with a sense of money, of course the best thing is to get rich and finally, the richest in the world. Those with sense of materiality will perhaps keep purchasing without limits. How about those with sense of education? Will they be studying all day and night long, burning midnight oil? Well, that is for you to judge.

I envy those who could spend without worrying much about pocket money. They just need to ask more from their parents when their pockets are dry. They buy whatever they want, whatever they desire and whatever they feel is a matching to them. Such an attitude comes with a lesson to be learned at the end of the day.

It is undeniable that money is an important tool nowadays. Without it, one will never survive in this "money world." Without a single penny in your drawer, you will never be entitled for anything, not even a slightest of mercy unless you are willing to beg for money. However, that should never be in our thoughts. Failures are not death. They do not signify the end of the world. There is always a route back to where you started from and though it is tiresome to begin the journey from scratch, it is the best possible option. Learn to overcome failure and regard it as guidance. No man will always be successful. Learn from your mistakes.

Learn to treasure those you loved and do not disappoint them. Never leave a scar in their heart too deep, as it will develop to become hatred and vengeance.
